TikTok is still the top social media platform to this day. Video Editors and Convertors are on the rise. This is a great entry-level app for you to enter this profitable niche. The app offers features like audio extraction from video, converting videos to GIFs, and merging multiple videos into one.
You will get the source code of the app that you see in the video demo. Nothing more or less than what the video demo shows. Feel free to ask questions before buying. The app is built using SwiftUI. All video processing is happening on the device, without any external APIs involved.
What do I need to get started?
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 13+ installed. This app requires iOS 14+. All app templates on this website are for iPhones, with no iPad support. An AdMob account is required if you want to show ads in the app. You don't need Cocoa Pods anymore for AdMob Ads. We are using Apple's Swift Package Manager to fetch the latest AdMob Ads package.
How does it work?
- The app allows users to import videos from the Photos app or Files app.
- Based on the video and the audio track, the app is capable to extract the audio in one of these 3 formats: M4A, WAV, or CAF.
- There are 2 bonus features, which are available to users via in-app purchases. These features are: Video to GIF and Merge Videos.
- Converting a Video to GIF, will automatically trim the video to a maximum of 5 seconds.
- Merging Multiple Videos will use horizontal orientation, but you can choose to merge all videos in portrait orientation.
- Video to GIF and Merge Videos can be unlocked via in-app purchases. In-App Purchases are handled via a private framework. This framework doesn't support subscriptions. You can use this framework for any other games/apps that you want to add in-app purchases.
