PDF Craft
Creating professional PDF documents doesn't have to be complicated. PDF Craft is a SwiftUI app that lets users create custom PDFs from scratch or start with ready-made templates. Add text, shapes, and lines, customize your document, then save, print, or export your finished PDF with ease.
You will receive the complete source code for the app exactly as shown in the demo video. Nothing more or less than what is demonstrated. Built entirely in SwiftUI, PDF Craft is a ready-to-publish iOS app that lets users create custom PDF documents from scratch or start with professionally designed templates. Users can add and customize text, shapes, and lines, move, resize, and rotate elements on the canvas, and create documents such as resumes, invoices, planners, checklists, lined paper, and grid paper. The project includes PDF rendering with UIGraphicsPDFRenderer, document persistence using UserDefaults, premium upgrade functionality with a one-time in-app purchase, and ad monetization via Google AdMob.
What do I need to get started?
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 15+ and an active Apple Developer account to publish apps on the App Store. This template requires iOS 17+ and is optimized for iPhone devices. To monetize with advertisements, you will need a Google AdMob account and your own production ad unit IDs. Premium features can be unlocked by creating your own one-time in-app purchase product through App Store Connect. Before publishing, you will also need to replace the placeholder App Store URL, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use URLs, and configure your production AdMob settings.
How does it work?
- Start with a built-in PDF template such as a resume, invoice, planner, checklist, lined paper, or grid paper, or create a document completely from scratch.
- Add text, shapes, and lines to your PDF canvas, then customize their font, size, color, position, rotation, and other properties.
- Easily move, resize, and rotate individual elements using intuitive gestures. A grid overlay and page lock options help you create precise layouts.
- Save your finished documents for later editing, print them directly from the app, or export them as PDF files.
- Premium upgrades and Google Mobile Ads monetization are already integrated, allowing you to launch with a one-time premium purchase and advertising revenue from free users.
- In-App Purchases are handled via a private framework. This framework doesn't support subscriptions. You can use this framework for any other apps you want to add in-app purchases.
