Trivia Time
Have you heard of 'Trivia Crack'? It's a very popular Trivia game, generating 400,000 downloads a month based on this SensorTower report. There is dedicated games category on the App Store for such games. You can use this app template and publish it as-is, or you can re-design it and target a certain category of quizzes, for example, Kids Trivia, Adult Only Trivia, TV Shows Trivia, etc. The possibilities are endless.
You will get the source code of the app that you can see on the video demo. Nothing more or less than what the video demo shows. Feel free to ask questions before buying.
The app is built using SwiftUI and Swift and supports iOS 14+. All quiz categories are defined in the app and all quizzes are being fetched from the Firebase database.
What do I need to get started?
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 12 installed. This app requires iOS 14+. All app templates on this website are for iPhones, with no iPad support.
The entire app is built using SwiftUI. AdMob account is also required to display native ads and interstitial ads.
How does it work?
- The user has 2 gameplay modes: Play quizzes from a selected category OR Play 10 random quizzes from random categories.
- Each quiz has 4 possible answers and only 1 correct answer.
- The user has 10 seconds to answer the quiz. When the timer goes below 5 seconds, the timer color will turn red and haptic feedback will easily vibrate the phone, catching user's attention and increasing their engagement with the game.
- Whenever the timer hits 0 or the user selects a wrong answer, the coins balance will decrease by 1 coin.
- With every single correct answer, the user will earn 1 coin.
- Any user has the option to create a quiz. Each quiz requires a category, question, and 4 answers, including the correct answer.
- All user-created quizzes are submitted to the Firebase, and none of them are available until you (or an admin) approves (or deletes) these user-created quizzes.
