Watch Face Maker
In February we have released the Watchly app, something that many of you requested. We are glad to announce this unique app idea, a Watch Face Maker that stands out from all other Watch Face apps on the App Store. If you have the Watchly app, then this app can be a great addition to your iOS portfolio. Adding multiple text layers, custom fonts, text alignment, text color, stickers, and backgrounds, this app has everything you need to customize your Apple Watch®.
You will get the source code of the app that you see on the video demo. Nothing more or less than what the video demo shows. Feel free to ask questions before buying. The app is built using SwiftUI and supports iOS 14+. The app will export the customized Apple Watch® Face (wallpaper) with a resolution of 484x396, which is perfect for any Apple Watch® series.
What do I need to get started?
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 13 installed. This app requires iOS 14+. All app templates on this website are for iPhones, with no iPad support. AdMob account is required if you want to show ads in the app. Make sure your Mac has the CocoaPods already installed since this is a minimum requirement to install the AdMob framework.
How does it work?
- The top section of the screen, where you see the Watch Face canvas, is where the user can add text layers, stickers, and backgrounds. You can tap the time text on the top right corner to hide/show it.
- The TEXT tool allows you to add multiple text layers, different fonts, colors, text sizes, and text alignment. To delete a text layer, you simply tap it twice.
- The STICKERS tool represents a list of 25+ png images/stickers that the user can add. Only scaling and moving the sticker around is supported, no rotation support.
- The BACKGROUNDS tool supports 4 options: solid colors, gradients, background images, and custom background images from Photos.
- You can see that the backgrounds tool is available only via in-app purchases. In-App Purchases are handled via a private framework. This framework doesn't support subscriptions. You can use this framework for any other games/apps that you want to add in-app purchases. If you want auto-renewable subscriptions, please contact us or search for 'PurchaseKit by Apps4World' in order to get the full version of the PurchaseKit product.
Opportunities for you
Probably the best way to provide users with more features is to mix this app with the Watchly app. You can also add more tools to this app, maybe an overlay feature similar to the one we have on the NFT Creator app. A great addition would be some quotes, so users can generate some random quotes for their Watch Faces. If you have the budget or the skills, you can add a calendar or a to-do list as part of the Watch Face/Wallpaper, so users can get instant access to whatever matters to them.
