Widget Void
Users are seeking ways to declutter their Home Screen. This app elevates Home Screen customization by enabling users to create widgets that seamlessly blend with their wallpaper for a cleaner, more personalized look. Don’t miss out on this opportunity! With the release of iOS 18, more users are exploring new ways to customize their Home Screens. This app has great potential to attract organic traffic as people seek fresh customization options.
You will get the source code of the app that you see in the video demo. Nothing more or less than what the video demo shows. Feel free to ask questions before buying. This app is compatible with the latest version of Xcode and SwiftUI. Widget Void uses a screenshot cropping technique to create the illusion of transparent widgets that blend seamlessly into your iOS Home Screen. We use a JSON file containing widget position specifications for iOS 17 and iOS 18 across various devices, ensuring pixel-perfect screenshot cropping.
What do I need to get started?
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 15+. This app requires iOS 17+. All app templates on this website are for iPhones without iPad support. An AdMob account is necessary if you want to show ads in the app. We provide you with some basic PDF documentation on how to replace the AdMob Interstitial Ad identifiers, and how to replace the in-app purchase product identifier.
How does it work?
- The app features a simple, single-screen interface where users are guided to take screenshots of their Home Screen without app icons.
- After capturing screenshots for both light and dark modes, users can easily import them into the app—it's that straightforward.
- Once a widget is added to the Home Screen, users can tap and hold the widget to select its exact position, ensuring the app renders the correct image that seamlessly blends with their Home Screen.
- Users can return to the app to select an overlay for the widget, with additional overlays unlockable via one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases.
- If multiple widgets are added, they will all share the same overlay; for example, two small widgets with a time overlay will display the same time overlay.
- In-App Purchases are handled via a private framework. This framework doesn't support subscriptions. You can use this framework for any other games/apps you want to add in-app purchases.
