What do I need to get started?
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 15+. This app requires iOS 15+. All app templates on this website are for iPhones without iPad support. We provide you with some basic PDF documentation on how to replace the in-app purchase product identifier.
How does it work?
- The app features a dashboard that displays reel templates organized by category in a grid layout.
- Each category carousel can show up to 5 reels by default, but this limit is configurable in AppConfig.
- Users can tap "See All" to browse every reel within a selected category. In Firebase, you define each reel’s name, category, and whether it’s free or premium.
- Selecting a reel opens the template view, where users can watch a preview and begin customizing it by adding their own media.
- Users can import multiple photos or videos, up to the total number of segments supported by the selected template.
- If users attempt to select more than 10 videos or include any video longer than 15 seconds, the app will show a warning—these are the content limits for reel creation.
- After selecting media, the app processes the inputs into a remixed video, which the user can then preview directly in the app.
- The exported reel keeps the original sound from the template, while the user’s added videos are muted for seamless playback.
- On the preview screen, users can bookmark a reel template, open the associated sound in the Instagram app, or view the original reel via a direct Instagram link.
- These URLs are defined in the JSON data you upload to your own Firebase project.
- Users can create up to 2 reels for free. This limit can be changed in AppConfig. Unlocking unlimited reels and all available templates is possible through in-app purchases.
- Unlike most of our other apps, this one supports auto-renewable subscriptions. Users can choose between monthly, yearly, or lifetime plans.
